Wii Controller Straps Recalled

AP Press is reporting that Nintendo is recalled 3.2M Wii controller straps.  You can register for replacements straps on Nintendo's website here.  The old straps are 0.6 millimeter (0.024 inch) in diameter and the new heavy duty straps have a diameter of 1 millimeter (0.04 inch).  This will hopefully alleviate the flying-controller problem but still exercise caution as striking something/someone is still a possibility.
