Halifax Home Insurance an insurance company in the UK has warned Wii owner to be sure they carry proper insurance for Wii related damage.  According to the article "Massive damage can be caused by Wii".  The premise of the warning is that major damage can be caused to television sets if people over-exert themselves when playing the Nintendo Wii so you should be sure you have enough insurance to cover those expensive widescreen plasma tvs. 

I guess we will see with all the soon to be new Wii owners, if the reports of Wii related damage jumps.  One would hope the new Wii Remote Jackets provided by Nintendo would mitigate a lot of the accidents reported by Wii owners.
