I was passing by our local GameStop and decided to check-in to see if they had anymore Wii's as my friend wants one for his kids for Christmas. They told me that the Wii was out of stock and they were unsure when they would receive anymore. There were two clerks, one asked me why I liked the Wii and made a comment: "We get about 20 Wii calls a day for every 1 PS3 call". The other clerk said that you really need to play it in order to see why it is so popular. I concur with clerk 2, you can watch someone play the Wii and think that it is interesting. But once you try to play it you are hooked. Everyone who has played our Wii system is now intent on buying their own. None of the people I have spoken with have even thought of getting a PS3 or XBox 360. The mass market appeal of this system is amazing. I think Nintendo is on to something.
